Venus Bliss™ is a non-surgical abdominal contouring treatment that can eliminate unwanted fat and reduce cellulite. Who Is a Candidate for Venus Bliss™?
Patients of all skin tones who have a Body Mass Index (BMI) no higher than 30 and want slimmer, firmer abdominal contours can be good candidates for Venus Bliss™. Venus Bliss™ is intended for the treatment of minor visceral fat and/or cellulite and mild skin laxity. Patients with a BMI over 30 and/or those whose abdominal contouring goals involve addressing severe cellulite, more considerable amounts of unwanted fat, and loose, hanging skin may be better candidates for a surgical body contouring procedure, such as liposuction or a tummy tuck.
What to Expect During a Venus Bliss™ Treatment
Your Venus Bliss™ treatment will be performed on-site at our state-of-the-art practice in Johns Creek, near Atlanta. A session typically lasts just 25 minutes.
At the start of your treatment, the applicators will be placed over the abdomen and/or flanks. The Venus Bliss™ device will then emit diode laser energy, which penetrates into the targeted subcutaneous fat, heating it and breaking it down. It is normal to feel a sensation of warmth during this process, though the majority of Venus Bliss™ patients describe the treatment experience as comfortable.
What to Expect After a Venus Bliss™ Session
Venus Bliss™ is a no-downtime treatment. Though you will not have any physical activity restrictions following your session, you may experience temporary post-treatment symptoms like mild bruising or swelling. The treated area may also feel tender for a week or two. You may be advised to massage the treatment site a couple of times a day for five to 10 minutes.
It takes several weeks for the body to process the damaged fat cells and eliminate them from the body. The full effect of your Venus Bliss™ treatment can be anticipated three to six months after the final session of your treatment plan.
How Many Venus Bliss™ Treatments Will I Need?
The optimal number of treatment sessions for you will depend on your aesthetic goals. Some patients achieve their desired results after a single treatment. In other cases, one or more additional sessions spaced six weeks apart may be needed.

Arrive with clean skin, without lotions or creams on the treatment area, and remove nearby jewelry.
