Meet Dr. Patricia Yugueros

Dr. Patricia Yugueros
Dr. Yugueros is currently practicing Plastic Surgery at Luna Plastic Surgery. She earned her medical degree in Cali, Colombia. She then completed her General Surgery residency as well as her Plastic and Reconstructive surgery training at the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Yugueros specializes in Abdominoplasty, Breast Augmentation, Mastopexy, Liposuction, Breast Reduction and Reconstruction, Buttock Augmentation, Facelift, and Blepharoplasty. She is currently the Chief of Plastic Surgery at EJCH and has been for the past nine years.
Dr. Yugueros is a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of many local and national scientific societies, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Yugueros has presented her academic work in several national and international venues and has written extensively and contributed to many journal articles and book chapters in the field of plastic surgery, as well as hand and microvascular reconstructive surgery. Dr. Yugueros has also been the recipient of prestigious awards by the American College of Surgeons and the Plastic Surgery Educational Foundation (PSEF) from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
Dr. Yugueros enjoys the full spectrum of aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery, with a special interest in breast surgery, body contouring including abdominoplasty, buttock enhancement with fat transfer, and liposuction. She applies the latest innovative techniques for facial surgery including midface rejuvenation, face and neck lift, and rejuvenation of the hands.
Dr. Yugueros is married to Dr. Juan Sarmiento, a hepatobiliary surgeon with a teaching appointment at the Department of Surgery of Emory University. She also has two lovely daughters. As a native of the Latin culture, Dr. Yugueros is one of the few Hispanic plastic surgeons in Atlanta and is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Connie Gonzalez-Salmeron, MSN, RN, PCCN, CCRN

Connie Gonzalez-Salmeron, MSN, RN, PCCN, CCRN

Connie is a graduate of Columbus State University with a master’s degree in nursing education. She brings more than ten years of experience in health care to Luna Plastic Surgery. Connie is our Luna Plastic Surgery Nurse, fluent in English and Spanish. Before becoming a nurse, Connie was a medical assistant who assisted in the clinical setting both in the front and back office for several years. Connie’s nursing experience includes caring for and managing inpatient and outpatient surgical patients.

Connie completed two nurse residencies for the cardiac intensive and acute care unit and holds two additional certifications from the world’s largest specialty nursing organization, the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN). These certifications include Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) and Certified in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN).

Connie enjoys teaching and feels that education is vital to excellent surgical outcomes. She looks forward to helping each patient through their plastic surgery journey.

Connie is married and has three sons and a daughter. She enjoys traveling, camping, outdoor activities, and dancing. But most of all, she loves to host family functions.

Vicky joins the Luna Plastic Surgery team with eight years of hands-on experience in the health sector as a medical assistant and office administrator. She has been working at Luna Plastic Surgery for seven years and is always the first friendly face you see when you arrive. Vicky is fluent in both English and Spanish and as our senior patient coordinator, she loves to interact with new and interesting people every day and enjoys the rewarding feeling of helping people. Vicky is happily married and is a mother of three boys. She enjoys traveling, music, and spending time with her family and friends.
Zane Bowman, Patient Coordinator

Zane joins the Luna team with several years of office administration experience under his belt. Zane makes a great addition as a Patient Coordinator here at Luna Plastic Surgery & Medical Spa. Zane is one of the friendly faces that will greet you upon arrival. What he enjoys most is seeing the patients we have accumulate a stronger sense of confidence that comes along with the beautiful transformations that happen here at Luna. During his free time, you will find Zane at any yard sale he drives past with an iced coffee in hand – and of course no yard sale is complete without his dog, Cooper by his side.

Grace Armas,Practice Coordinator & Surgery Scheduler

Grace has been a hair and makeup artist for more than 20 years. After so many years in the industry, she wanted to settle in a new career yet stay in beauty. After gaining experience in Med Spas for a few years, she joined Luna Plastic Surgery & Medical Spa in 2021, happy to still be in the presence of beauty and change. Watching patients transform is so rewarding and something she looks forward to experiencing every day. Grace enjoys traveling and spending as much time with her two teenagers and husband as she can.

Tina Peeler, Aesthetician at Luna Plastic Surgery in Johns Creek, Georgia.

Tina, a graduate from Lanier Technical College, is an Aesthetician. She has worked at a national laser center for 3 years where she became certified in several different lasers. In addition to Laser Hair Removal, Vein treatments, and hyperpigmentation removal, Tina also offers services including facials, chemical peels, and microdermabrasion. She is dedicated to helping patients look and feel their best. Tina has 3 boys and spends most of her spare time at the park watching her boys play baseball, football & basketball. Tina has been working with Luna Plastic Surgery for 9 happy years.

Gloria has been a Medical Aesthetician for 3 years. Working with lasers and HydraFacials fascinates her. However, seeing her patients happy is what truly melts her heart. In her free time, she loves to travel and takes her son to museums. She lives life to the fullest and is thankful for the people in her life.

Patrina had the privilege of growing up in the beautiful Caribbean alongside her grandparents. In her family, healthcare was a noble profession, as her grandmother, dad, and aunt all dedicated themselves to it. Naturally, their compassion and empathy influenced her greatly, making healthcare the perfect path for Patrina as well. She is blessed with a daughter who is her mini me, or simply mini. Patrina enjoys hobbies like arts and craft, jewelry making and golf.

Patricia is our Lymphatic Massage Therapist. Lymphatic Massage is required in most of our surgeries. It helps drain the excess fluid through the lymph channels, decreases swelling, improves circulation, softens scar tissue, and helps the healing process overall. She has been a massage therapist for the past several years and has been working in the medical field for over 11 years. She has a warm and inviting demeanor that makes our patients feel very relaxed and comforted. She is originally from Colombia and speaks Spanish and English. She enjoys traveling, the natural outdoors, and dancing. She is married to her husband for the past 3 years.

Sara is a Certified Surgical Technologist who assists Dr. Yugueros in the operating and in the office. Sara is happy to assist our patients in any way throughout the surgical process and enjoys helping patients reach their goals. Sara has spent a significant portion of her life in the greater Atlanta area and now resides in Johns Creek with her husband, David, and her dog, Teddy. She enjoys hiking and playing golf with her husband.

Ayesha was introduced to massage when she saw someone being fire cupped at the age of 8yrs old. After some time in the corporation, she decided to go back to school and become a massage therapist. Ayesha is now certified in cupping as well as orthopedic and medical massage therapist. She really enjoys preparing the body for surgery and post-op healing work.
