Micro-Needling and How it Works

At Luna Plastic Surgery we are now offering Micro-Needling. Micro-Needling is a treatment that penetrates the epidermis and dermis with very small micro-needles. When the “pen like” instrument moves across the skin, it stimulates the natural collagen reproduction. This process not only increases the collagen reproduction, it also has been found to be more effective and beneficial than most microdermabrasion and chemical peels and with no side effects or downtime. Depending on the area treated, you will notice an improvement in your skin’s appearance. Acne scars will be less obvious, age spots and fine lines are greatly diminished. Your skin will be softer, tighter, smoother and younger-looking.
